Extremely Poor Customer Experience

What an extremely poor service I have received from Mahlatse Malatji from Shoprite Liquor Modjadji Plaza (GA-Kgapane). I went to the shop to get some refreshments around 18:25 today the 8th of Jan 2024,I got to the shop and took whatever I wanted to drink but when I got to the till Mahlatse asked for an extra savings card before she can even ring my item, I then told her that I left it in the car but it's fine she can ring without it but she then told me that we as the Shoprite customers are now forced to have the card or else we are not allowed to shop,. I then asked her that are you saying if I don't have the card or if I don't want to register for the card meaning I am not allowed to buy at Shoprite, she then said yes! She denied to let me buy. I told her that I will report her but she did not hesitate to tell me that I can go wherever I wanna go for all she cares because if she let me buy without the card she is going to sign a warning. I had to go to the car to fetch the card, I then went to her to pay, she then told me to pay at the other till. I did so.So now I'm asking myself why are we forced to have the card? Is it there anything hidden info behind the cards...? She was not even wearing her name tag, I asked her why is she not wearing the name tag, she then told me that she lost it long time ago. She then said 'My Name is Mahlatse Malatji'
