Expired and damaged food

bought maize meal on 07/01/2020 from Shoprite in Newlands East Durban. When I opened it I found ants in it and it was very old but the expiry date was only on April. This is not the first time I experience something like this at Shoprite. Not long ago I bought cooking oil and it was not sealed inside. I had to throw it away because I wasn't going to use something I didn't trust. This is really annoying because we buy from big supermarkets like them trusting that they would have quality stuff but then realize that it's all the same
