Essentials appliances not essential

I bought Essentials 1.7L Auto Kettle in February 2024, It was working fine until 30 October 2024 when it started causing electricity tripping. Because it's still under 1 year warranty, I took it back to Shoprite Hammanskraal and was attended by Dimakatso who in turn refused to exchange the kettle saying it is working in the shop, therefore it is not defective as I said it is. If it was not defective I wouldn't be taking it back by I was refused that right of taking back something I am not happy with.
