Early closure

Today we had a very nasty experience at Shoprite.The security had closed the doors at 17:45 whereas their trading times are till 6 as advertised on the doors.

They also stipulated that level 3 trading hours are till 6.

The security told us that the store manager is coming to speak to a group of us that were waiting for over 30 minutes and refused to acknowledge us.

Then a frontline supervisor came and locked the doors and told the store is closed.

The security then got aggressive and started pushing me when I insisted on speaking to the store manager.

This store takes their customers for granted every day..why aren’t they keeping to the times that they put up?

We also have jobs and this is the time we come home and have our shopping to do.

There was a trainee manager that came to the front and agreed that we were in the right and does not understand why the security are doing their own things.
