Dissapointing service from manager and staff member

I bought an iton at shoprite 8 months back on the 12 th around 13:15 i went to exchange the iron because it was not switching on anymore since it had a 1 yr guarantee ...when we got there i was assisted by a cashier whi adviced me to wait since the person responsible fo appliences exchange was not available but they paged for him ..we waited there for 30 min until a very friendly clerk by the name Phumzile Ntuli who went passed us and asked if we've been assisted and we responded with a no she dropped what ever she was doing and went to look for the person who was suppose to assist us ..one of the managers by the name of Edmond Khanyile saw us from the minute we came the whole 45 min we were standing there he saw us he was busy making tea and what not but did nt bother asking us if we ' ve been assisted ..then the clerk came back she did nt find the person and offered to assist us we went to choose the iron with her then she went to the same manager who was at the next office next to where we were standing and asked if he could help us ...but immidiately the guy by the name of Christian Makhubu who was suppose to assist us initially came after 1 hour of standing and he was very rude to say the least he did n't greet nor did he apologise for keeping us waiting when we gave him the iron he insisted he can not assist us bcz the iron looks old and its dirty at the bottom we argued and requested a manager because the iron was under guarantee so even if it was dirty as he put it still it should be working ..the same manager who did nt pay attention to us previously was the one who said he also cant assist us we cn not get another iron because this one looks old and they both agreed with that as i was talking to him he just left us there without any explanation so i became angry and irritated i followed and he was very rude and it was evident that he did not know anything what so ever about customer service to say the least asked why he just left like that and he said qe disturbed him while he was on lunch and that made me even more angry mind you all the customers that were paying on the tills were looking at us because i qas angry now and we were shouting at each other until i requested for the store manager luckily he was available immidiately and he dmjust saw the iron and slip and did nt hesitate he just said they must five us another iron ...even then when the store manager was gone Edmond was still doubting to give us the iron and when we argued again he said in his exact words you dont deserve to get another iron im giving you for free" ngyanipha " i was very dissapointed and angry that i will never shop at Shoprite Kwamashu again because of the service i received and my family as well unless i receive an apology from both Edmond Khanyile and Christian Makhubu ....but thank u to Phumzile Ntuli for the excellent service and Sunitha
