Disgusting Service 10% student discount Promotion

<p><span style="font-size: 14px;">It is pathetic that such a huge business as Shoprite is not able to deliver on their promotions. Today 14/7/2017 8:15 I went in to Shoprite Atlantis to purchase my daughters stationary for university. She had redeemed the 10% student voucher on her phone and gave the code to the cashier. However they said the code is too short. The manager, the customer service consultant and supervisor tried to assist. The manager said that they are calling marketing department. How can they launch a promotion without testing to see if it's working? We were in the store for1 hour. First at the till and then outside the cash office with no solution. We were on our way to a conference which started at 9:00 already.This is pathetic service. We left the store without the discount promised. I dealt with Everdene, Mr Roberts and Angela Futshane. No alternative was given to override the system. Surely Shoprite 's systems are not that inadequate? In my view I think that the marketing of this. 10%student discount have been deceptive.
