Disgusted in Management's lack of people s****s

I bought an electronic wok a few months ago and clearly I will not have the slip anymore. 2 weeks ago I used the wok for the 1st time since I've bought it and it didn't wanted to heat. Yesterday I went to shoprite charsville to exchange for another 1 not for a refund I was told i can't because I don't have a slip. The nice gentleman said he will ask the store/branch manager. He came back saying she said No you need to have a slip. Not once did she come out of HER office to explain to me why as a manager will do. I went into her office and asked why and I immediately got irritated by her response and could see she's 1 with attitude like here I'm the boss attitude. Now I also know it's the managers discretion but because she wanted to show her staff that she won't give in se refused. She then told me to leave her office when I said I'm calling head office. When I left still not being assisted I greeted politely and she looked at me and never greeted back. I got so upset at her........i use to shop at checkers as it was my number 1 store after this **** experience I will not set foot in any of their stores again. If management don't have customer service then they don't deserve being in that seat. A title says nothing if u don't have people s****s. Then we wonder why our people don't easily get management positions is because once we do we have an attitude of I'm the CEO of the company.
