disgusted by the sales maNAger at Delf mall shoprite liquor GERALD DUPLISIS

Today i went to Shoprite at delft mall at the liquor store to buy a bottle of gin , when i was paying i forgot my phone at the counter , immediately when i got to the car i noticed that my phone was missing, i went back at the store to check if the phone was still there unfortunately the phone was ****** . When asked the cashier that was assisting me IF SHE SAE THE PHONE she advised that the phone was taken by someone who was behind me on the queue , when i went the manager to ask to check the footage hoping that the person was still at the mall and security can assist catching the person , the sales manager called Gerald du Plessis refused to assist with footage , he advised that i need to first go to SAPS in order for them to assist. my question is when i get back to saps will the person who stole my phone be still at the mall, i was so shocked by the managers response when i needed help from a manager and he refused while the incident happened at his store , clearly Shoprite client are not safe at the shoprite store , am so disappointed by the response i received from the manager
