Disgusted by the bad service and spoilt food

On Sunday the 25th of October my husband and I went went to Shoprite in West Street to buy a few things including a 10KG INyala Maize Meal to my surprise on Monday morning when i was preparing pap for my family I realised that the maize meal was full of crawling maggots, my husband then volunteered to go back to Shoprite and report this on his way from work the following day. He was advised by Prince from the information desk at the store that he needed to bring back on Wednesday a \sample"of the maize meal and the till slip. Wednesday my husband on his lunch break decides to go to Shoprite with the sample (with maggots) and a till slip. To his suprise he was advised by a rude lady at the information desk that she cant assist him unless he brings the whole 10KG maize meal. My question is why the hell did Prince say we must bring only the sample. Is it our fault that we were sold food with maggots? Who has time to be going up and down with a 10KG bag of Maize Meal with maggots? I'm so disappointed with Shoprite and I don't see myself ever shopping there again and will definitely be telling this experience to my family and friends"""
