Disgusted

<p>Good Day,</p> <p>So yesterday I visited the Pelican Park branch with my mom to shop for some necessities and waited in a queue for nearly 30 minutes to pay my DSTV account as there was only one cashier and a very long queue.</p> <p>When we EVENTUALLY left the store we were stopped at the doors by security who said someone would like to speak to us. We then waited for the 'lady' to come. When she did she said she just wants to know where we put the cheese. I was shocked and didn't know what she was referring to. Then I realised I had picked up some cheese in the cheese fridge but later put it in the fridge at the deli as there was no halal stamp on the packaging.</p> <p>We were left humiliated and embarrassed by your securities and this is completely unacceptable. If I pick up something it doesn't mean I have to pay for it and people put things back all the time is they choose not to purchase it.</p> <p>While waiting in the queue to pay my DSTV account I spoke to a manager regarding the unhappiness of the staff as they had complained they started work at 7am and by 5pm had not yet been allowed to go to lunch. This is even more disgusting. He said the store was busy and I told him no matter what, the staff are entitled to their lunch or you pay them overtime for the extra hour worked. He told me he will sort it out... I highly doubt that he did.</p> <p>I would like formal apology from the management of this store and will accept nothing less.</p> <p>Disgusted customer,<br />Zainab</p>
