Discounted items sold at a higher price and rude cashier

Went there today 15.03.2022 Newtown junction. Things I bought were discounted when one has the card .. to my surprise when I got to the till the amount was more, which I didn't notice until the cashier gave me my receipt, I enquired with her as every item bought had a discounted amount,had my xtra savings card with me,nothing was discounted. When I enquired the cashier was so rude, the look she gave me for even asking, it's like I wasn't even supposed to ask. She said specials ended on Sunday , yet every item still had those adverts. Asked her how she said "I don't" they were supposed to remove them and didn't. Today is Tuesday specials ended on Sunday she said. Whose fault is it that the staff failed to do their job. It's a pity I didn't take that woman's name but she does no justice to the brand. She has no customer service and should work as a mechandiser or packet. You can't have such ride staff at the front desk/ as cashiers. Ended up paying more because they failed to do their job so whose fault is it. I worked in retail before and I know the price you see is the price you pay, yet when I told her she became so defense and said speak to that lady asked which one she said that one yet there was no one there. . because I was with my daughter I didn't want to make a scene but honestly speaking I'm lost for words. One that they have failed for 48 hours to remove those signs and two when we enquire it's like we have committed the biggest crime and are served by people who have no respect for people who actually bring busines to the company
