Disappointed of the bad service

I just came from shoprite and was assisted by a cashier who did not even have a name tag on. She just tilled my grocery but never bothered to help me pack. I asked her if they don't assist people to pack or if they don't have till packers and she looked around and only assisted to pack only one plastic. I had to pack everything else on my own. I then went to the manager who said she was Cynthia. She tried to explain why the cashier did not assist as the store is a mini store and said but she was supposed to assist since well she is a controller and she even showed me one cashier who was next to her and assisting the customer to pack her grocery. She went to the lady who was assisting me and said she did assist in packing one plastic and only because I asked her too. She said the lady is Precious. There was no apology from the lady or the said manager who even wanted to justify the actions of the said controller. I'm really disappointed with the kind of service shoprite employees give to us as consumers and would appreciate it if my complaint can be taken seriously to avoid occurrence of the same nature in future.
