Disappointed by Shoprite

I am very disappointed with Shoprites service at Umlazi V section, Veni Yeni.

I bought items to the value of R250 using my debt card however my purchase was declined by Shoprites check out (till) system even though payment from my bank account to Shoprite reflected as being paid as seconds after purchase I received an sms from my bank stating that payment was made.

I was then told by the cashier and the manager of the store that I cannot leave with my items because a slip did not come out from the their till system. They then told me that in order for me to leave with these items I would have to make a cash payment which i did.

I am very angry because it is not my problem or fault that their system is not functioning properly. I have been very inconvenienced because I know had to pay extra money just so I could leave with these items as I needed them and I now have to make another trip to get my refund from the store.

Very disappointing and no compassion at by staff as I work hard for my money to be told to leave items I had already paid for!
