Debit card

My debit cheque card was accidentally left at paypoint. Cashier handed it to controller Monica. That happened 28/12/2017. Enquiring 29/12/17 Monica was day off and nobody knew what happened to my ca rd. I think this is so disgusting. Aren't there a policy in place re lost bank cards? Replacement cards are very expensive. I am disgusted and furious
