Covid19 protocols not followed
So yesterday I visited the shoprite store in Maboneng, made my way to the till points there was no forn of social distancing what so ever so I managed to find one with fewer people as I'm standing there 2 gentleman join us and stand behind me and my son because their standing so close I ask my son to stand next to me the gentle men come closer the then turn and ask them to give us space (social distancing) this guy becomes rude and tells me I'm being forward mind you there should be security personnel insuring that people abide... this guy's starts swearing at me and then I get to the teller as I'm paying this lady asks the guy what going on he the tells her I asked him for social distancing and makes other nasty remarks.... the tellers response is what really bothered me she then says "social distancing was cancelled". As we are approaching the 2ed wave I'm worried about the kind of education and protocols that this store has in place. There's is no regulations in numbers and no one monitoring if customers are adhering to the law. The same gentleman had his mask off and he was eating whilst all this was happening maybe I missed the point where shoprite became a sit in restuarant... I'm both appaled and disappointed.... maybe it's because majority of the people being serviced by the store are of color
