Cosmo city Shoprite liquor from hell
On Sunday the 5th of November, was passing by Cosmo mall , I decided to get liquor,I went to Shoprite checkers liquor store, but i was travelling with my 3 year old son on that day.I was stopped by the security as I was entering and told me kids are not allowed,I must leave my son outside and I’ll find him outside.
I couldn’t believe I was given that option to start with, because that wasn’t an option to me at all.
I begged the security, telling him I’ll make sure he doesn’t break anything and if he does I’ll be liable. He allowed me in with my son.
Took the bottle of liquor by the shelf, with my son in the trolley a lady working there approached me with attitude telling me kids are not allowed,I tried to explain I spoke to the security, but she was not prepared to listen, the way they were making a scene,I was humiliated,I was treated like a *****.The one lady had a name tag written Emily, but the other one who was the rudest didn’t have, she said her name is Charity.
I’ve been to liquor stores, and I was never denied entry because I was with a 3 year old,If cosmo checkers liquors has different rules than other liquor stores,I think they must be made visible to everyone ,maybe on their website or something so that no one gets humiliated and be treated like *****.
How do they even have the audacity to tell costumers to live there kids outside with a stranger,If that’s their option, what will happen if anything happens to someone’s child are they gonna be liable and take responsibility?
Or is this what they were instructed to do by management because it’s a black Mall?
