Complaint

I knocked off at 17:05 and quickly made my way to Shoprite @Phumula Roodekop. i got to the store at 17:15 i had less than 5 items including two bottles of wine. I joined the queue at 17;30 and i finally got to the till at 18;06 and the entire staff including the management were adamant on not selling to me, I understand covid protocols but i was already in the store in time, i joined the queue in time. Why was the express till not operating? What control do they have in place to make sure that revenue of wine took from the shelves before 6pm is considered? I am a regular client of shoprite at Phumula amidst competitors that are around the store
