Complain to happy customer

I went to Shoprite in Chamdor Kagiso, bought a combo for R99.00, when I pay I used my extra save card, I later realized when I got home that I didn't get a combo discount.

The next day I went to the store again to request my refund, the supervisor was very professional and willing to assist me but unfortunately couldn't make a division as the combo I took had an incorrect cooking oil to make combo price she referred to her manager.

As she was going up and down to the manager, who said it's not possible to help me because the oil that I took is not part of the combo. I asked to talk to the manager. The manager asked me to go back home fetch the cooking oil bring it back then they will be able to assist me, I asked her if they are going to pay me for petrol that I'll use because is not my fault that the display combo had the wrong oil. I stood with the manager for about 15min back and forth about this mater but at the end she managed to help me with a refund.

For resolution in future to queries like this managers must also consider the cost impact and time management.
