Checkers Cacades Pmbg

My experience of late is that dried goods like flour and now oats have weavils in them. I have tried twice to get hold of a manager at Checkers Shoprite Cascades to no avail. Yesterday no-one picked up the phone and today they are 'stocktaking' I am told. I have stopped buying flour there-I go to Woolworths now. A week ago we bought two boxes of Jungle oats and opened today and in spite of an expiry date months hence, both are cobwebby which indicates weavils. Tuesday is bin day so I threw them away. No more oats from Checkers for me. When the switchboard operator said today that all the managers must be stocktaking-all I could say was 'Surprise surprise'. I am not phoning again. She didn't offer to take a message and besides who phones back these days anyway?
