Chased away like dogs!

Every year an organised collection for parkland special school (supports special needs children) approach shoprite and is given permission to stand and collect. The branch manager had signed the forms and had given us the go-ahead. On the day of the collection, the admin manager came to ask us what we were doing there. We told her everything including proof. She seemed anoyed. She said okay and walked off. A little later she came back and abruptly told us to leave the premises. We were shocked! We left. I was troubled about the irrationality of the situation so I went back and the admin manager told me that her boss Paul Crawford had said that he knew nothing of the collection and that we should leave. Yet we have signed documentation giving us permission to stand for ONE hour at Shoprite in nahoon I am disgusted at how we were treated. The propper approach would have been for him to tell us that his branch manager messed up and he is sorry about that and that we may still collect for the children. His company made the error. The government gives one Saturday a YEAR for us to collect. - do you think they were bothered? No we were chased away like dogs. I will not rest until this matter is sorted out and delt with professionally.
