Cashiers Drunk with Conversation

<p>So I went to Shoprite Liquor Store in Atlantis on over the long weekend. I was ready to do my monthly purchase, to my bewilderment. The cashiers decided that they will have their conversation without acknowledging our presence at the till. All my requests had to be done twice. I asked her did you not receive any training in customer service. How can you have a conversation while you are supposed to be attentive in what you do. The reply “Watse customer service ha….os kry nie sulke training nie” I needed some cashback but she was too busy with her conversation and had to redo the transaction. I politely informed her that the role of the cashier is more than just ensuring that a POS is approved also it might be a routine task but it is a responsible task. For some reason I misplaced my till slip but I can access my bank account to confirm the purchase what I can tell you is this is not the usual cashiers that is normally in that store. I will rather driver 45Km to Bellville or visit Parcadi as to be treated like this.</p> <p> </p>
