Cashier stole my money and manager is in on it

On the 26th of March 2018 someone sent me R2700 through Shoprite money market and it was deposited at the Ndofaya Mall Meadowlands branch. I then went on the 30th of March 2018 to withdraw the money at Vosloorus branch only to be told that the money has been withdrawn already. When I asked when was it withdrawn the cashier was unable to provide me with any details and requested that I tell the person that deposited the money to go back to the branch and inquire from there.

We then went to the Meadowlands branch and asked the cashier what happened, she then explained that she does not know we must speak to the manager.

We asked for the details of the person that withdrew the money and they gave us the name of Mayibongwe Praisegod Zungu and it was withdrawn at West street Durban. What puzzled me was that they did not have the person's ID and for someone to withdraw money they need to present the cashier with their ID book which is captured.

We then were told to go to the police and open a case against them and once the cops start with the investigations the head office will then follow up. A case was opened needless to say that it was not an easy process, having to go back to the shop and back again to the police station.

Fast forward after being told that the cops will take it from there and will be contacted with every progress, and to this day none of such has occurred. I called the branch on the 14th May after and I was told there is nothing they can do since it is under investigation and the cops will need to give us an update.

To this day we have not received any communication and no one is willing to assist. Please help on what steps to take in order to get our money back. I am willing to fight tooth and nail for this.
