Busting the myth of rude cashiers at Shoprite

Queen Letsoalo at Shoprite, Turfloop (close to University) was exceptional on a very busy night. I had been standing in the long lines for over 30 minutes and by the time I was next to pay I was told the line was cut off because it was closing time. I then went to several other lines and was told the same story. Seeing that I was literally the only customer left not being helped, Queen decided to help despite harsh words from a supervisor who wanted her to close the tills immediately. What was really impressive was Queen's calm, professional assistance despite the supervisor's continued harshness.

One of the reasons I don't shop regularly at Shoprite is because of the extremely long lines as well as the often rude service of cashiers so I was pleasantly suprised to receive great service when it was easier to just close to the till. The things that I was buying were an urgent buy so that makes me all the more grateful to Queen Letsoalo.
