Bad shopping experience at Shoprite Raisethorpe KZN.

Black Friday shopping at Shoprite Raisethorpe, KZN. This store is not equipped and does not have sufficient competent resources to handle and promotions let alone a Black Friday promotion. Consumers must pay attention to what's scanned as they practicedunfair trade practices example misleading the consumer with deceptive prices and false advertising. Today my shopping experience was a nightmare as items advertised was not the price scanned. My trolley load of items was not discounted . The cashier was insistent that the system was correct. I was emotionally drained and the supervisor was called to assist and this took another 30 minutes for any resolution . They debit my card and thereafter try refunding me in cash. What a joke ? They do not have a facility to refund into the customers account real time but manually. Most humiliating was to see staff unpack my trolley load of groceries to do a void (refund) then rescan every item, this being done with queues of consumers watching what's happening. The supervisor drops my coffee on the floor and puts it back in the trolley. Pathetic no sense of hygiene or respect for the consumer. Matter escalated to a Mr Neveling, who cannot give a consumer an apology in writing. He" states that it might be used in a case of law", how unprofessional. He should be reminded that in retail the customer is his primary component and show empathy.
