Bad Service Shoprite Verulam vs Excellent Service Shoprite Mount Edgecombe

I just want to place on record the poor service received from Shoprite in Verulam. I took three items to change in their Shoprite packet as it was just to change for flavors(1 airfreshner , two bath soaps) as my husband had purchased the incorrect ones since their shelves were empty over the Christmas period, I was assisted by a Tamara who gave me attitude after telling me i cant change it, remember when a client is frustrated you do not act like you own shoprite, Her customer service skills were pathetic. The floor manager at that time was some lady called Mam Khosi(black lady), who seemed to be more respectful of me. I did not have the slip on that day but i changed some other stuff with the slips. Tamara has no customer service skills, as a broker in the insurance industry I am well of aware of when a client is frustrated you step back and let the client be. Tamara was not helpful and gave me her attitude back. When i left i advised them i will get the items changed at their Mount Edgcombe branch. This past week i visited the Shoprite branch Mount Edgecombe to change the items just for different flavors. I was assisted by a very polite staff member Batundwa who confirmed with a very polite floor Manager Crystal who saw items in tact and replaced them for me. I just grabbed the new flavors and they did the swop at the till. Why could the Verulam branch not assist me this way. Hats off to Crystal and Batandwa for your customer service skills. I will not be shopping at your Verulam branch any further, i rather travel the distance and deal with people like Crystal and Batandwa.
