Bad service Shoprite Mafikeng (Megacity branch)

Went to Shoprite Mafikeng - Megacity as I was attracted by a special made on their pamphlets. I bought 2 1kg yorghurt that were on special for R48 combo. I bought 1 fruity yorghurt and the other was plan. I swipped my extra savings card.

I was surprised when I got home, my till slip showed me something different. I bought both yorghurt with their original price and did not benefit from the promotion.

I went back to the store with my till slip and the pamphlet but the customer assistant informed me that I should have taken yorghurts of the same price range for me to benefit from the promotion. And promotion was only for fruity flavors. I showed her that the pamphlets was saying all variants and not some hence my choice to mix my combo. And also, the promotional pricing was placed on both shelves for yorghurts and not some. She explained to me that sometime its a problem of space to pack stock.

My problem is that when I promotion is made, why can't managers pay attention to small things like advertising without hiding some information to customers? Why must I scratch my head and assume when buying promotional items?
