*****, BAD SERVICE, refund money market

On the 19.09.2024 at 13:30 We stood long at SHOPRITE MARKET STREET. I do not get the reason as the employees are rude when we make a complaint. When it was my turn at the MONEY MARKET. Both tellers were assisting a customer on one idle/station which I found odd because money transactions are sensitive. I had my S.A Passport, bank confirmation and Affidavit stating I misplaced my S.A. ID. The teller took 20+min to assist with withdrawal. She and his colleague were the only people who saw mi PIN. The lady teller went to as far as asking me to borrow ID from the queue so that they can attempt to withdraw for the umptieth time- I was not even asked for cellphone numbers for confirmation or any information further. I left and when on the route, by the corner there was a PEP at Market Street. I explained my experience to the teller and security they were willing to assist I did not take time in the store as it was 14:27 according to the receipt. I was advised to go to STANDARD Bank and ask them to reset my pin or check for any faults. I went to Standard bank Ghandi Street Branch. I was assisted telephonically. They said money was withdrawn at Standard bank ATM at 13:40. I am disgraced by SHOPRITE; I will open a case of ***** and theft for SHOPRITE AND I WANT MY MONEY. I have heard all types of stories about SHOPRITE, even Andile the manager said they are aware of such incidents hence they fire employees. What is This? SHOPRITE MUST ACCOUNT. Who advice a client to borrow someone's ID? Do they teach on? The Protection of Personal Information Act is a piece of legislation which governs the law of data protection and privacy in South Africa?
