Bad management service

My mom bought chicken at Shoprite Sunday afternoon two weeks ago she returned it the following day but the manager refused to take it back, was rude to her and humiliated her infront of his staff then she said she will report him and was arrogant about that, then said she should do whatever she wants but he will not take the chicken back because it was "warm room temperature warm" that they don't take perishable goods purchase a day before. I called the manager and asked why he wouldn't return meat we bought less than 24 hours ago he said the same to me as well and told me that its against Shoprite policy to return perishable goods purchased a day before, I asked him nicely to please email me the policy that states so then he said "I'm the one that wants to file a complaint then I should look it up myself" then he gave us a customer care number that is not working and said he will only take directions from his employer not us. I wrote an email to Shoprite with a complaint 2weeks ago I had not received any feedback on the matter as we are still stuck with chicken trays which we don't want, the managers name is Ashley Titus works at Shoprite Makhaza branch in Khayelitsha
