BAD MANAGEMENT

Oh I went to Shoprite Maboneng sometime last year, I wasn't happy with how the manager yelled at one of the staff infront of the customers and worse part she had done nothing. I mean like why didn't he take her to the office. I feel like the managers at that store lack training no wonder why the staff is resigning. My second encounter was last week if not two weeks back. . I find the staff of that shop very friendly and willing to serve. So there were lines (queues) since there is lack of staff, the manager came shouting at the money market asking them to go help at the tills then she left, came back after few minutes shouting at them then she took one of the staff which to me seemed like her favourite or relative, took her to the till. Went to fetch a lady who happened to be wearing a "Civa" t-shirt I think she works at the camera department coz she was told to go view the cameras from money market she wants a little mistake from the money market staff she wants to dismiss them. I mean like what kind of management style is that? Apparently I had a chat with 2 of the staff and THERE IS NO ONE WHO IS HAPPY AT THAT SHOP. My point here is, before we can sometimes judge the staff that we see everytime, the front end retailers have you ever as a company check your managers how they treat them? What's the point of wanting to dismiss someone who really needs a job because he/she is not your favourite. You can't lead any company if you are biased. Some of the staff love their jobs but because of poor and favourist management they lose interest. I'd love the company to speak to their management to stop promising staff that they will dismiss them for nothing. If we can have a good management I'm sure we'll have the best happy cashier and till Packers. You know it is good to have an experienced cashier that we know for years than to meet new inexperienced cashiers everyday. I've noticed to cashiers there who are always smiling laughing making us feel better.. I don't know their names, 1 has a Nigerian accent when she speaks English, 1 always wearing formal and in heels. I prefer being served by them, making conversation always having jokes though the managers yell at them. And the cashier of the month always smiling (Ncami).
