Bad Customer Service and

If it was possible to give a zero star, I would have done so. I have been observing the practice at various Shoprite stores in the Western Cape, Cape Town area specifically, where the cashiers do not give you the proper change. They never have 10cents; granted, 10cents not a lot these days, but it adds up if they do that to all the customers. Kindly explain if the customer is not entitled to his or her change, or are the cashiers keeping it for themselves or is this a business decision not to give people their 10 cents... If I'm short a 10 cents, your cashiers will not put that item through....so what is the difference. Also, please train your frontline staff and cashiers to be more friendly with the customers, with a few exceptions, most of them are rude and speak to customers anyway they want. Granted, I can take my business elsewhere, it's not as if Shoprite is cheap anymore. Anyway, please train your staff customer service and give our change, or put up a notice to say that you don't give 10 cent change... I don't have this problem with other retail stores.
