Bad Attitude, mistreated deliberately. Groceries ****** inside store!

On the 28th August 2017, around about past 15h00 -16h00. I accompanied my aunt to shoprite Gugulethu Mall, to buy few items for supper that evening.

She paid at the tills and the teller slipped the cash receipt into the plastic bag, and she went to buy at the kiosk. whilst was standing there , being assisted by the kiosk teller, as she was about to pay , she put the plastic bag of groceries on the floor next to her inside the store, and paid at the kiosk.. immediately she looked down and her groceries were gone and nowhere to be found.. she immediately reported it to the managers and asked for a footage. when they came back with the feedback they told her that they could not see the person who took her groceries and that the camera does not reach where she was standing..

How can that be possible? I mean shoprite has camera's everywhere, it is impossible for them not to see it. and told her that "there is nothing that they can do to help her" she begged them for a reprint and to look clearly and carefully at the footage but they refused to assist her.. she went home that evening hurt and embarrassed by the treatment she got from Shoprite.

I will not let this rest, I will take it further. I will share it on all social media.

This is unacceptable for a customer to be treated unfairly after spending so much money for nothing and to go home with bare hands. on top of that get bad attitude.

Shoprite you have disgusted me!
