Bad attitude from cashier

I had the worst experienced today at Shoprite Marikana, NW. A cashier embarrassed me in front of people in the store and on queue. I came with an item that didn't have barcode on. I looked for the one with barcode, but all of them didn't have one. But because I really needed it, I took it to pay for it. When I got there she told me I can't buy it since it didn't have a bar code and she threw it. When I told her I needed it, with a bad attitude and funny face, she then said it's not her problem that the item didnt have a bar code. We exchanged words and busy arguing about the item. She was not remorseful at all and she continued giving me attitude even when paying for my items.
