Awful Service and Rude Management

On Friday 13th of October I went to Shoprite Sunnyside in Pretoria to do some grocery shopping, I spend an hour picking stuff and filling my trolley only to arrive at the till point to discover I had forgotten my bank card in the car. The branch was closing and they were about to close their doors, I quickly try to rush to the card so I can pay for my groceries and I explain to the security guards I’m quickly fetching my card, they tell me they won’t allow me in and referred me to the Manager who was utterly rude to me, talking to me while he’s busy on a phone call and rudely telling he won’t allow me , I try to explain and point to the car that it’s literally by the door but he refused to assist me.

I had to cancel my transaction after spending an hour picking stuff, the service was totally unacceptable especially from the Manager on duty, the staff has zero respect and courtesy for customers who have been loyal to them for year.

I will never set foot in Shoprite again.
