arrested for nothing

Im writing with shock at what my cousin experienced at Dobsonville Shoprite in soweto. He has experienced bad treatment by the security company and the Shoprite management after he was seeking assistance when he couldnt access his ewallet funds after queuing for hours, he had a bottle of coldrink with him and was hoping to pay for it once he gets his funds.

He had taken cold drink with and queued , while queueing he opened the drink to get sip because he was not feeling well. when he got to the till to access the funds and pay for the drink he was told the system is offline , he should then try the next till. but he was tossed around the supermarket because the service was offline , the last resort was that he was told to queue at the money markert to access his funds . so the queue was outside the shoprite doors, he then asked the employees of shoprite ,where he should put the bottle of cold drink while he tries to get money to pay for it. he did not get any response . He then went to the security guard to ask to place the cold next to him while queues outside.

To his surprise he was then hand cuffed by the same security guard and was put in detention for the whole day because he opened a bottle of cold , of which he was seeking to get assistance with the matter.

why is't that black people in township we get such treatment by these retail sectors , we continue to be humiliated by them when theres cameras and security placed. why do we get searched by these security guards every single time we leave stores but in the suburban areas theres no such treatment, you can never be searched like you are a ********.

To end the story he was then fetch by the security from back , he was told to get his ewallet and pay for his cold drink. No arrest by the police happened, no apology nothing was done.

this what shoprite management in dobsonville treat their residence . We need assistance to escalate this matter further.

this is defamation of character, he was embarrassed , accused falsely by Shoprite.
