A complain of Shoprite Rustenburg services

Hello!! Last year on 09 August 2019, I bought an iron (essentials) at Shoprite Supermarket in Rustenburg. currently the iron is not working ,it lights but it doesn't heat. Then I went to Shoprite to make a complain about the iron, i had the slip. I met a cashier , then she told she will ask her Manager about it. When she came after 20 minutes with the manager, she told she can't help me cause that iron had scratches undernith. I was so disappointed about their service, that iron is 1 year guarantee, they specified on the box outside. I just used that iron for 5 months. They sells essentials products even thou they don't last for long.
