Shoe empire... More like shoe disaster...

I recent bought shoes for R600 @ this place and the shoes pulled loose in less than a week. I took the shoes back and got another pair whereafter only 4 days later the same thing happened. In todays life with our economy being the way it is youd expect a bit of quality for paying almost up to R1000 for shoes. I mean my salary is 5000 per month so just imagine the dissapojntment i face. Shoe empire suck. Being an assuming andy... My guess is that they supply the people probably with **** name brands

Hello Pi3ta,

With regards to your comment on Hello Peter- we exchanged the first pair of shoes without any hassle. The second pair you returned after 2 weeks was covered in paint- these are smart shoes and not shoes that you should wear while painting. Its like wearing slippers to ride a motor bike. they will get ruined as they were not used for the correct purpose.

We buy the shoes in good faith and sell them in good faith. We strive for value for money and pass this on to our customers. Customer service is very important to Shoe Empire and we will go the extra mile as we did in your situation, despite the shoes being covered in paint! According to the consumer act this is abuse of a product and by law we would not have had to exchange them.

Shoe Empire DOES NOT sell **** brands, we would not be able to sell the TOP name brands if that were the case. We sell branded merchandise at good prices.

We are very sorry that you feel that you were unfairly treated but if we look at all the facts, we are pleased that once again we have gone the extra mile, despite your new shoes being covered in paint.

kind regards
Shoe Empire Management
