Uncomfortable shoes, waste of money

I am extremely upset. Bought a paid of boots 6 days ago that I wore once to church. They were the most uncomfortable pair of shoes to walk in and a complete waste of R350. You work hard for your money to get told, you should've tried the shoes on and then you should've known it was uncomfortable. How do you know something is so uncomfortable without walking in it first!

They manager had the attitude of not returning the shoes the moment I saw her face and stated that there is nothing wrong with the shoes they would've returned it had it not been worn. I said I wore it once to church and took it off immediately as it was really uncomfortable to walk it, it felt like walking on heels that are too high and you're constantly double stepping.

After making me wait nearly an hour, she asked me, if I got the refund would I want anything else, when I said no she went to investigate my shoes as if I would go and try and break it at home. She then typed a msg, received a call and returned saying no they cannot return it.

Nowhere did it state im their store that the shoes had to be unworn, and that I still understand, but how was I supposed to know the shoes were so uncomfortable before wearing them?!
