Terrible return/ service from shoe city Northmead mall.

I brought a pair of boots for my daughter on the 04/05/2019 when I took them home she tried them on and walked around in them for more or less 10 minutes, she then complained they are too big. I then the very next day took them back, the shop assistant had so much attitude, she then told me I can’t exchange them as the heel was a little damaged. My question I asked is first of all about the quality? And second of all she only wore them 5 to 10 minutes why can’t I exchange them? The lady was not interested to hear. She would not let me see the Manager. I will never buy a pair of shoes from shoe city again and I will tell everyone I know not to buy from them either. Terrible service... what happened to the consumer act of 7 day exchange period?
