Shoes did not last 6 months...

Purchased shoes 7 Dec 2018. A month ago the soles started cracking. I only got a chance to return them 5 July, last Friday. Staff told me there is no long any guarantee on their shoes.

I would have rather been notified of that at purchase.

I hardly walk in these shoes, they are my work shoes in an office job. Did not even last 6 months? Is that acceptable?
