POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE

Please assist with the following store

I would like to lay a formal complaint about the rude and poor customer service I received at shoe city in Mamelodi Crossing. The incident date Thursday, 15 December 2022. I approached your store at the door and the was nobody to assist, staff were busy chatting near the tills, I then called somebody to assist then the lady with the name Nthabi came. I waited outside the door eating ice cream with my grandchild, she shouted at me and said I did the right thing by waiting there at the door because I look like dirty like a ***.

She said what do I want in their store, I responded to her that I would like to exchange the school shoes they are small, she asked if I had the slip, I responded to her that I don't have the slip it was a gift, she responded to me that the Is no such thing she needs the slip and worse part she won't exchange them because they are dirty like me. I then asked her to call the store manager maybe she/he can welcome me, she turned around and said to me am the store manager, bluffed at me showed me her name badge and said no one will discipline her because she is the boss of the store.

I patiently said can you please assist me or call your assistant manager to assist, she then called Andries and he also said the same thing and said if the store manager can't assist me he also won't be able to assists me with anything.

I insisted to call her area manager, they simultaneously said an area manager won't be able to speak to customers that are dirty like shoes. Mind you I'm outside at the door I didn't even enter the store(I waited outside they shouted at me both at the same time.

The way I was heartbroken I even cried, she showed me your customer care line and insisted again to me that no one will tall to her nor discipline her she is the boss of shoe city. She gave back the shoes at the door and said again even if I cry the Is nothing she can do I must just take my shoes and go back home I'm even wasting her time.

I would like management of shoe city to take disciplinary action against NTHABI & ANDRIES, they are rude and doesn't care about customers as well as the image of the store they are working for.

They definitely left bitter taste for me as my shopping experience at shoe city is concerned and they dented shoe city for sure.

I will be sharing my awful experience with friends, family and colleagues, I am still at shock to say the least. This experience happened to my mother am writing in her behalf

Can you please take my complaint into consideration.
