Poor Customer Service!!

I went to the store in N1 CITY one evening, just to have a browse and see if I could see a nice pair of shoes for my little girl. My daughter was with me - just touching the shoes - not taking them off the shelves or whatever. The sales lady (I'm guessing) came over to us and said "please put everything back you take off or touch because we're busy in a stocktake" Ok, so me as a customer is not allowed to take off a pair of shoes to see if it fits my child or whatever? that's very unprofessional - we'll never buy at Shoecity N1 City again.
