Extreme bad customer service Northgate store

I visited shoe city Northgate mall on 25 April in search of a pair of shoes for my wife. As i entered the store i was ignored by all staff as they were just chatting to eachother. I none the less searched for about 10 minutes until i found a shoe i wanted to purchase. Upon finding the size i opened the box and found only one shoe inside, i called one of the staff members to assist. They then took one of the shoes from the shelf to match to one in the box. I was not to happy about this as the one on the shelf was very dirty so i asked if they could please clean it as this was a birthday gift for my wife. The staff member was very rude and irrate about my request. She went to the other staff members with the shoe and made a big deal about it. When i approached them at the cashiers till they asked me where was the shoe dirty. I was singled out and put on the spot by three staff members of the store as if i had committed a crime. I didnt end up taking the shoe as they were extremely rude and abrupt. This behaviour and service is terrible and disgusting. I will never shop at any of the shoe city stores again!
