Disgusting Refusal of R89 credit note only a few days late.

Once again a capitalist company takes advantage of the desperation of the destitute.Once again we find companies like Shoe City taking full advantage of their “business code” instead of taking into consideration the loyalty and current life challenges and situations we as their consumers are faced with.I bought shoes and was given credit in the form of a voucher.Due to the current pandemic and messiness of the effects of the pandemic I was unable to even reach a store and spend my credit.As soon as our president announced a relax of the conditions I made my way to the Fourways Shoe City to buy a pair of sneakers for my daughter for running and I was told that my voucher expired and that I have lost and forfeited my balance of R89 on the voucher Goodbye. I refuse to have Shoe City Shareholders benefit from a free R89.This is free money I am voluntarily giving Shoe City for nothing and I refuse. Had they said the money will go to some charity benefit I would have felt more at ease but this is not the case.I am just filling up the coffers of the already wealthy and will not sit back while there is being ****** from me in a nice way.They say the voucher is valid for 3 years and I have not even come close to. Full 3 years.Besides that.We are not living in normal times and can therefore not stick to our normal business practices.Some of us are cautious parents who refused to go to malls.I need to either spend my R89 or be assured that it will be dealt with in a more positive manner but just to forget about it is out of the question.I think it’s disgusting to expect me a loyal customer to do that.
