Bad Service - Returns
I recently purchased a paid of Mancini Tan Angelo's size 10 at Centurion Lifestyle. Upon purchasing, i briefly fitted the pair and bought sole inners (size 10) and was on my way. The following day, i put the inners in and realized that they are around 1.5cm short but proceeded to wear the shoes as ive been wearing Mancini's size 10 for the past 3 years. When i got to the office, i realized that something is wrong as no matter how tight i laced the shoe up, they remain too big and slip off. i literally wore the shoes for 2-3 hours and yes you can see they are worn on the soles as i work in corporate and make use of an "parkade " and have to walk a few blocks.
Upon returning them to the store, i explained to Thuso (sales consultant) what i experienced and illustrated to him how shorter the same size inner sole is, and advised that i did wear them for a bit and you cannot realize the problem when fitting them in store.
He proceeded to bring me a size 9, let me fit it on, i inserted the inner sole (size 10) and it fits perfectly thus there is something not right with the other size and make.
When i went to the sales counter, another lady was assiting and called Thuso to come back to me. I asked is there a problem as i explained the situation and the merit for the exchange (showing him the inner sole size 10) where he turned around and said "would i buy these shoes back"
This is quite a ****y way to treat a customer, i more when i went through the whole situation, explained and illustrated to him what happened. When i asked for a manager, she was on lunch. I believe that in not being unreasonable and really does merit an exchange.
This is ******* service, pathetic in the least. I will never buy from Shoe City again. Cannot meat a customer halfway or go the extra mile to assist in an non normal situation.
