1 month return policy

I bought a pair of shoes on the 10th of January it's only been a month and 2 weeks since I bought the shoes and they already ruined I bought them thinking they are of good quality because I've always bought my work shoes from that store over the years so I went back yo the store today to return them cause I've only worn them for a short time only to be told by the manager that I only had a month to return them and here I was thinking that I was buying quality shoes that would last me longer given the price I paid for them
