Bad experience at Davenport Shisanyama in Durban

I went to Davenport Shisanyama on the 22nd of February 2025 because I have been following them for a while on social media and I liked what they shared on their social platforms, only to find disappointing service from the staff!! We were not welcomed as we entered the place but we let that go since it’s a Shisanyama we thought maybe we just have order over the counter and then get served after ordering, but!! When we were told that we are not allowed to sit on the other side which has couches that we always see on Facebook we started feeling like we were in the wrong place 🤦🏾♀️we went on and ordered a platter for 2 people and as were eating we noticed that there were customers coming in with cooler boxes and alcohol and they were given undivided attention because they were going to “pay R70” for the VIP section “the couches” but all of that info is not specified when they advertise their business. I’m never going back to that place🙅🏾♀️because it seems like it only caters for people who will be consuming alcohol, the food was terrible besides the wors.👎🏾
