Pathetic Service, poor quality

I bought a Nike Force sneaker from Shesha Rosebank in April 2023. Yesterday 17/07/2023 I returned the sneaker for exchange or different product because the sneaker is pulling loose on the edge. There are no scratches , cut or anything. The store consultant confirmed that its looks like a manufacturing fault but head office needs to give approval. He called back and advised that his Head Office said that they not going to take account for the faulty product because its not on their side. According to the consumer act, I am allowed to return the product within 6 months is it’s a manufacturing fault. Shesha now does not want to take responsibility as they no longer have the shoes at the Rosebank store.

The consultant took a video of the sneaker and send it to the Manager and someone at Head office. I was told that their store manager would be in today 18/07/2023. This morning I received a call saying the she might be back tomorrow. I am not sure if they are avoiding me or what?

I am not sure if they are buying from the Street in JHB CBD and cannot return it to the manufacture?

I would like to urge potential customers not to buy from Shesha. Rather go to a different sneaker store where you will find value for your money and hopefully the original product.
