"Single Lady"..... can you hear the song?...Valentine's Day Competition.

During hubby’s 5 year struggle with Alzheimers, his passion for food never waned until shortly before he passed away 2 years ago. The places I would choose to take him would be those with a calming atmosphere especially for him. The Sherwood Garden Centre Restaurant (Port Elizabeth) nestled comfortably in the heart of their nursery was such and he really loved it there surrounded by natural beauty and the great feeling of being outdoors. I personally loved their couches strategically placed for comfort and privacy (under the circumstances). As I no longer have a partner, I do however have a few loyal and wonderful friends who also enjoy the ambiance, the flavoursome food, which is freshly made on site and beautifully plated, and so it still remains a first choice. Every visit for me conjures up the beautiful memories hubby and I shared there, especially for our special occasions like Valentines Day, Birthdays and Anniversaries but I am still blessed to enjoy moments often, albeit now, with good Friends.
