Shelley point island house

Do not book this house ever.it is situated in Shelley point estate in st Helena bay.i booked the house for 4 nights.Unfortunatley life happens to all of us.My daughter got hurt 2 days before we got on the plane.My doctor advise against any strenuous exercise.includes walking too.So I had to cancel the trip.The owner first refuse to pay me any money back.Since I paid in full in a month advance I expected a penalty fee to taken.No he wanted to keep the whole amount I complained to booking.com customer service.They informed me that after speaking to the owner he is prepared to pay me one night only back.Because he was loosing money.On booking.com it says Free cancelation.So I will Not use Booking.com from now on and I Will tell everyone I know about my experience with Shelley point island house.
