V+ card machine

I have got a problem with Shell garage ATTERIDGEVILLE. Twice have I been told the machine for swiping the V+ card to gain points isn't operational whenever I go to fill up. That is clearly cheating customers of their opportunity to gain rewards.

The service also is very time consumingly slow. Attendents take their time with walking to the cashier window or to the cars waiting to fill up. At certain points customers get fed up of waiting and decide to fill up elsewhere, whilst there is a good amount of attendants visible to help.

My main concern is the V+ card machine story that we are being told isn't operational. To be told twice of the same issue isn't a coincidence but, rather a trick I believe.
